Himalayan Morning
A recording made about an hour after dawn, at 2000m at Cloud’s End in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. This recording won the Silver Fox award for best overall recording in the competition of the Wildlife Sound Recording Society (www.wildlife-sound.org).

Amongst the other species that can be heard are Great Barbet (Megalaima virens), Rufous-bellied Woodpecker (Dendrocopos hyperythrus), Red-billed Blue Magpie (Urocissa erythrorhyncha), and more.
